Picked out the components for my first time build, just need confirmation all parts are compatible..could anyone take a look for me as I'm not sure!

Graphics:-
ASUS PCI-E A HD7870-DC2-2GD5-V2

Processor:-
Intel Core i5-3350P - 3.1GHz - Socket 1155

Hard disk:-
Seagate 1TB 3.5" SATA-600 7200rpm 64MB

SSD:
Samsung 840 Series 120GB

Motherboard:-
ASRock H77M - Socket 1155 - Micro-ATX

Memory:-
Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz UDIMM (2x4GB = 8GB)

Case:-
Cooler Master K280

PSU:-
Corsair CX Series CX500M - 500 Watt

OS:-
Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit

Just want to make sure it will all work together and fit in the case?
Thanks!

It will all fit, but curious as to why you went with a Micro ATX Motherboard rather than a standard ATX. You will be squeezed on the small Motherboard as it is only about 9" x 9".

I'm not sure to be honest, I don't know much about motherboards so I was recommended that one and went with it! Have you any suggestions for others? Will a bigger one be necessary?

Honestly, if all you're adding is a video card, you won't need much more than a Micro-ATX board. What I'm curious is why you went with an Ivy Bridge, rather than Haswell.

I'm not sure of the difference, I think I was advised on that type because of the socket in my processor was 1155. Are the haswell models different to that? I don't really know why, is the difference big? price, performance etc?

There's not much of a price difference and you get slightly better performance. In all honesty it's mostly just to stay up to date.

I have to agree. Haswell is a better choice here.
