I'm pretty much a noob but have a list of what I'd like...I was wondering if I can build the same power/viability for less with different parts...I mainly use my pc for League of Legends/guild wars 2 and photoshop cs6:

CPU -Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1 GHz ($169.99)
Motherboard -MSI LGA1155 Intel H77Â ($82.99)
Video Card - Sapphire Radeon HD 7870Â ($219.99)
RAM -Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GBÂ ($52.99)
HDD -Seagate Barracude 500 GBÂ ($49.99)
Case -GAMMA Classic Series ATX Mid Tower ($39.99)
Power Supply -Corsair Builder Series 600W ($57.99)
Optical Drive -Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X ($15.99)

prices on amazon...only website i could find that had it all...also should i go for windows7 or 8 64bit?

I would say you should go with Windows 7 as Windows 8 for me is flat out frustrating because of the Metro/ModernUI Interface. You can get add-on programs to Windows 8 to make it look and feel like Windows 7, so you could always do that too. If it were me choosing a new OS I'd say go with Windows 7 as it will have the best compatibility with current games and software along with a better interface.

Windows 8 doesn't have any compatibility issues as far as I found. And if you don't like Metro, you can replace it.

If you're concerned about drivers (for whatever reason), if it was built for for Windows NT 6.x (Vista, 7, 8 ), then it will work.
