Hello all,
First, I apologize for my lack of knowledge.
So... I am building a gaming pc (current and future games at max graphics settings and 30 fps) but will also want to run Adobe Photoshop. I'd like to keep everything under $1000 but I am flexible. All I have to add to the equation is a copy of Windows 7, a Razer mouse, and an old DVD RW.
Of the research I have done so far here is what I've considered.
CPU: AMD FX-8350 $179.99 (hopefully can get a discount on that)
Graphics Card: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card N660 TF 2GD5/OC $179.99 (Refurbished)
Case: Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower $69.99
SSD: OCZ Vertex 2 OCZSSD3-2VTX120G 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) $69.99 (Refurbished)
HD: Western Digital WD Green WD10EARX 1TB IntelliPower 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive $79.99
MoBo: No idea as to what I need (AMD?)
Memory: Not sure 8g, 16g, 32g?
Monitor: Either LG EB2242T-BN ($124.99) or Acer S220HQLAbd ($139.99)
Keyboard: I assume any generic keyboard.
Headphones: I would love a recommendation here for a quality set.
Power supply: Again I have no idea.
So that comes out to $670 with no Mobo, Memory, Keyboard, Headphones, or power supply.
Here are some things that have been confusing me: What is the difference between a $40 mono and a $200 dollar mobo? Will I be bottlenecking by using any of these products? Is all of this compatible? Do I need more cooling or are the fans that come with the tower sufficient?
Finally I have until May before i "need" to get this so I can wait if prices will be going down.
Thanks for your help and I'm terribly sorry I don't know more

but I'm willing to do the research, just wanted ya'lls opinion.
