A 690 will run better than two 660Ti video cards in SLI since a 690 is two 680's crammed into one video card. Both setups will run well in terms of gaming, but if your gaming at a resolution of 2560x1440 you will want to go with the 690 as it will perform better at higher resolutions. If you're just gaming at 1920x1080 both will be fine your needs.

If you can afford a GTX 690, you can afford two GTX 670s, which will perform as good or better than a GTX 690 for less.

And to reiterate the point: if you're gaming at 1920x1200 or lower, you will be pissing money away on anything that packs more punch than a GTX 670/Radeon HD 7970.

Soo 2 gtx670 well be plenty for arma 2 at highest settings and will look great with no lag what so ever. Btw im getting the i7 3770k. I want it so that when shit hits the fan and everthing starts exploding in the game that I wont miss any of it and be lagging...... I mean I dont even wanna lag for just a sec. I want it to chuck norries the graphics and not miss a beat... lol sry just wanna get the point across. O and my spending I set for my self is $2300-2500

Arma II isn't a very demanding game you could run it with a lone 650Ti at max settings easily. If you want a dual card SLI setup 2 670's would be the best option in terms of value/performance.
