Interesting Read

I'm now insanely curious as to how high my 2.4C can go.

There are a number of posts testing different boards, procs and ram.

It's a very cool tool to help your ram oc. Not sure if it would work well if your proc is already maxed out andif so you could try to upclock the ram using 4:5 (if the board can do it or you have a modded bios).

Check it out.

I'm fairly confident my chip has some headroom yet to go. On 5:4, I get her a bit over 3.4GHz. I'm limited to 2.85v on my DDR, and I wonder what 3.0ish could accomplish.

My rigs the opposite. The proc is maxed out before the ram. I am thinking of this booster and upclock the ram. With 4:5 I think the ram will max out before the proc does (I think I need something like a 4.5 to 5).

Good ram cooling is needed with higher volts. A super talent memory cooler would be sweet but it seems to be extinct up here in the 51st state  .
