Hey Shavon, welcome to the forums!

Sorry for the delay in post approval, we've been swamped. :/

Be sure to check out some of the Anti-Virus roundup's on the main page and in the magazine. They do a good job of comparing the anti-virus options, and it's pretty much a yearly thing. If I'm not mistaken, it's currently open voting to pick which softwares are included in this year's anti-virus roundup.

I think you have it all backwards. The trick is not to get a virus in the first place, not it's removal. Anti-viri software isn't needed -- just think before you click, surf smart and say no to porn.

Well, it's better to say it shouldn't be necessary, but it's good to have a safety net anyway.

Now website exploits. Those are nasty.

Do use Ghostery? There is a maybe a half-second delay penalty but it keeps keeps everything online all safe a secure.

This looks more like a hardcore version of AdBlock with NoScript.

I think a more secure solution would be Sandboxie. :D
