Maximum PC

I have to start from scratch, relating to my post in the free clinic forum now that I know that the Bioastar T590 SLI Deluxe Board is junk due to bad capacitors. I want to go with AMD a Am3 or AM3+ CPU. According to best of the best review on the sit, the ASUS M5A99X EVO 990X R is still listed as a top choice for a AM3+ MOBO. If anyone has any words of wisdom or preference please sound off and give me your choices. I also checked out the M5A99X EVO R2.0. I looked on the ASUS website for a side by side comparison. I did see that the main difference is the BIOS on the R2.0 is a 64mb flash as opposed to the ASUS M5A99X EVO which is 32. There are more features to with the BIOS on the R2.0. Any thoughts on the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3, it was suggested in a maximum PC issue for a budget build back in the holiday 2012 issue.

I'll second the 990FXA UD3, very nice board for the coin. I bought mine Sept 2011, & haven't had any real problems with it. Only issue I had was the SATA III slots operating at SATA II speed. Gigabyte & Mushkin (I was using their Chronos SSD, & thought it was an SSD problem...) combined to give me the correct solution within just a couple of hours. Even have a Bulldozer based Opteron 3280 in it right now.

Thank you chaosdsm, I went to Fry's to get it. Not in stock they only had a open box, didn't want to chance it so its New Egg or NCIX US mail order. I will get it from one of those 2..Again thank you
