Why does every PSU come with it's intake cooling fan on top??? My rig I am building has holes on the bottom so my PSU can suck up all the cool air it wants and spit out the warm air thru the back.

Now, am I gonna hurt anything if I install my PSU upside down? I know they designed these things to operate a certain way and over time, gravity will take it's toll. Has anyone ever done anything like this before or is it one of those things that really won't make THAT much of a difference?

No. In fact, bottom mounting PSUs wasn't in the original ATX to begin with. So installing it "upside down" on a bottom mounted case would really be installing it rightside up. The only question is if the screw holes aren't covered up by the case.

No difference. Well, unless 1C is significant to you. And for you, I imagine it is.
