Maximum PC

I have searched months for a Alienware M18x that I can afford. Found this laptop for insanely ridiculously cheap! i7 3920XM , 512GB SSD , 32GB DDR3 , GTX 680M SLI. My dream laptop!! But... don't get me wrong..Alienware was a legit company,but once Dell bought them up..i would be gawd awfull leary.

I think he was more interested in whether the deal was legitimate - that's a $2500 computer easy for 1/4th the price.

I would be EXTREMELY hesitant - from what I can gather, the company is in China; I searched them on eBay and they didn't come up; also, their FAQ page is not working. These make me wonder about the legitimacy of the company.

I also looked at some of the reviews - they are written in horrible English, which indicates 1 of 3 possibilities:
1. They are fake and written by the company
2. They are legit but written by foreign customers
3. They are written by American teenagers

Ok, so that really didn't clear much up, still...unless you have $600+ that you are willing to gamble with, I'd pass. Remember the adage: Caveat Emptor!

OK! Thank you! A helpful reply! I might skip it because it does seem to good to be true. But do you know where I might find a Alienware M18x R2 for about $1500? Needs at least a i7, GTX 660M and a 1920x1080 screen so basically any M18x thats a R2. Thanks!
