Hey all,

First of all I want to say that I don't have much knowledge of the details on custom pc's, but if I did I wouldn't be here :)

I have selected some parts, but not sure what I can improve. Please help me out as much as you can, I appreciate it.

Info:
The PC will be mainly for video editing. Some performance necessary for gaming would be very nice too.
My budget is around €800 / 651 pounds, but I'm planning on purchasing more later to make it worth 1000, but I want to start out with 800 euro's.

Le build:
Case: Cooler Master Elite 431 Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ Front USB 3.0 & X-Dock HDD Hot Swap
Power supply: 500W Desktop Power Supply
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G43 Intel® Z77 ATX Motherboard - CrossFireX™ Support
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3770 Quad Core Processor (3.50GHz, 8MB Cache)
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory (2x4GB) Kit
Video: 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 - 384 Cores,DVI,mHDMI - 3D Vision Ready
HDD: 1TB SATA III 6Gb/s, 7200rpm, 64Mb Cache, 8ms Hard Drive
DVD/CD: 24x DVD Writer (read/write CD & DVD)

Current cost:
€631,-

So what should I improve for a mainly VFX pc, part gaming pc?

Thanks a lot for any help!
- Joshua
