Hey everyone. I hope I put this in the right section. This is my first time posting here.
I have an desktop that's a few years old and currently has a 250GB hard drive in it. It's REALLY loud and slow and I feel like it's going to fail soon. I've made sure to backup everything to an external drive. I was thinking I would just upgrade to a 1TB drive. The box says it comes with software to somehow I guess transfer everything from the old drive to the new one, but will I need an OS disc to re-install it to the new drive...because I don't have one...or does it somehow make a mirror image and I have nothing to worry about?
