Having trouble finding a MOBO with PCIe 3.0 for my vid card. All the vid cards I'm looking at are rated with PCIe 3.0 but I can't find a board that has PCIe 3.0.

Many of the Intel boards have PCIe 3.0. Are there any AMD boards with PCIe 3.0???

ASUS Sabertooth board for Intel has PCIe 3.0 but for AMD it does not.

PCI-Express is backwards and forwards compatible, you don't need a 3.0 slot for a 3.0 card.

I know. That's not my concern.

I am hoping to take advantage of PCIe 3.0 that my new vid card will have but can't seem to find an AMD mobo that has PCIe 3.0. Any reason for this? Any AMD mobos that have PCIe 3.0?

Yay! Someone updated this test. tl;dr, you can run high-end PCI-Express 3.0 cards at PCI-Express 2.0 x4 and still not see a significant performance hit.
