Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and all the good deals that come with those days are almost upon us, and I've set my eyes on an SSD upgrade for my laptop. However, this laptop is...an oddity. It has a 500GB HDD and a 32GB SSD, to cache that 500GB HDD. Unfortunately, my laptop's manufacturer (ASUS) has made it so that the SSD's ONLY available functionality is caching. My question is: will a Samsung 830 Series 256GB (520/400MBps read/write) acting as my main storage device be hindered by a SanDisk i100 32GB SSD (450/350MBps read/write) acting as a caching device for the faster Samsung SSD?
