Maximum PC

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking at building myself a new PC within the next 6 months. It does need to have some budget, however I also want it to be pretty powerful and plan to buy the base stuff and then all in SLI graphics at a later date. Please let me know how this build looks, or if you have suggestions on making it better and/or cheaper for me (without losing much power).

Already have mouse, keyboard, monitor, CD/DVD drive, and Windows 8 Pro. Will look into getting new monitor and SLI graphics with a future build. ($831.94 Total)

Don't bother with SLI unless you're going to run a 3 screen gaming setup or getting a 27"+ monitor with 2560x1440 resolution or higher. If you're sticking with single monitor gaming, the second tier GPUs (e.g., GTX 670, Radeon HD 7870-7950) do more than enough for a 24" screen for all games.

You won't need 16GB of memory unless you plan on doing something more taxing than gaming.

I'd slip an SSD in there. Even if it's only a 60GB type, it's still nice to have a really responsive system.

Otherwise the rest looks good.

Thanks guys, I was planning on getting two monitors going with a pretty decent res. Staying away from SLI would certainly be cheaper. I will look into the redo parts see what I think about them, thanks for the suggestions.
