Compared to the Extreme4, that's not a gaming board... 1 PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot + 1 PCI Express 2.0 x16 that only operates at x4 = no SLI support & not a great option for 7series Radeon's (pci express 3.0)in Crossfire... not that Crossfire is even needed with a 7850 or better card on a single 1080p monitor.
Realtek LAN chipset

My personal experiences with them is nothing short of bad.
Only 6 internal SATA connections - of course everyone's needs vary, but I'm currently using 7 internally & will be adding three 2TB drives for added storage space in the near future.
Compare the feature set of the ASUS & Extreme4... the ASUS ends up looking pretty lame.
