I am thinking of buying this monitor on Black Friday..http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-E2742V-BN-led-monitor
I can buy it for 199.99.. I have a Dellâ„¢ 2405FPW Flat Panel Monitor right now..And I want to go bigger...I play first person shooter games..And watch movies on it to..Will I be happy with this one??

No, no you won't be happy. You will actually be miserable until you step up and go another 66% and go tri-display! Seriously, why would you want a 27" panel at 1920x1080? It's rather illogical, if you want a true upgrade off your 24'incher you go 1440 or Big Boy and go 30" at 1600. But really, a 1200 or <meh> 1080 tri-panel is where it's at! It's fuxing fat!

Yeah, in regards to monitors, there's no point in going to larger physical size if the resolution's going to stay the same. However you do pay an arm and a leg for something larger than 24".

I personally see no appeal in multi-monitor setups for gaming, and it'd be silly to do so for a movie. It might make sense if the bezels were only millimeters in thickness.
