Maximum PC

i want to be able to play bf3,tf2,minecraft,borderlands 2,dayz, and many others on max settings, i will be gaming at 1080p, i will be buying from ncix canada, and i need a monitor and an os included in this build, i will be buying in 2-3 weeks, this is what i have put together so far:

case: nzxt phantom 410 im really sold on this case
motherboard:asus p8z77-v lk or the gigabyte z77 ud3h if i can get it on sale
cpu:Intel core i5 3570k quad core
gpu: msi gtx 670 power edtion or evga ftw if its cheaper when i buy
storage: samsung 830 128gb ssd or the ocz vertex 4 128gb ( i will get mechanical hard drive when i get more money)
ram: corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz low profile
power supply:xfx pro 750w modular psu
optical drive:asus 24x dvd burner
monitor:asus vs228h-p
windows 7 (or 8 when it comes out)
cpu cooler:cooler master hyper 212 evo

Go with the 830 it's a great drive since Ocz ssds have reliability issues from what I've read. Your current build will be able to handle all those games at 1080p maxed out but you could go with a 660ti instead of the 670 to save some money. Other than that your build looks solid.

The OCZ's don't have reliability issues. What happens is that we're beta testers for them in the past, but given enough time they have a strong product to purchase. Currently, they're Solid...no pun intended. As with most tech, don't buy early if you don't want to deal with teething issues.

Well, OCZ left a sour taste in my mouth. I managed to brick a Vertex 2 after performing a wipe via Parted Magic, at OCZ's instructions none the less. Thankfully it was still under warranty and they RMA'd it for free. But either way.

I've used this example too many times, but my work laptop, which uses Windows XP and is approaching 3 years old, is using a Samsung SSD. And I've yet to see it choke.

Overall solid build imho.

The one suggestion I will suggest is to swap your PSU with something better and possibly cheaper. Ug I dislike that site, but a quick perusal and here are a couple possibilities?
