Several things:
**As mentioned by the previous poster, you don't mention the intent of the computer; nor do you list a budget. Both of these need to be determined before you proceed. From your post, I'm guessing your budget is $1000 (since your two builds are about the same price) but you need to identify your budget and stick to it.
**AMD vs. Intel. Might as well get the 800lb gorilla out of the way. The majority of people will tell you to go with Intel. For the two CPUs you've selected, I can guarantee the Intel will beat the AMD in every test. Hands down. But that's why it's $80 more. At the same time, the 6200 is an excellent CPU. All things considered, that is probably the best Performance per $$ CPU AMD has right now. In fact, I would say Performance/$$, the 6200 would probably be top 10 CPUs right now - including Intel. So for the $80 savings you get with AMD, you can put that towards an SSD...or maybe a better GPU. I'm not saying buy AMD, but I am saying don't just discount them outright.
**16GB is a heck of a lot of RAM; 8GB should be fine. That will save you at least $40 that you can put towards something else, or your pocket.
**Thee 7770 is a very good card, but you should also consider the
XFX 7750. It's about the same price as the 6670, better performance and a single slot so you don't lose one with overhang.
**As for the case, I don't know if aesthetics is the main reason you chose it, or if it was for some functionality, but I like the
Antec Three Hundred Two. It's cheaper, professional looking, but still has a little personality. Again, another $40 saved.
**I haven't priced HDDs recently but $100 for 1TB seems high. Keep an eye out for a sale. Here's a
Samsung 1TB F3 for $88 including shipping. You should be able to find a comparable HDD for $80 on sale, maybe $75. And make sure you need 1TB. Unless you have a large collection of music, movies or games, 500GB should be more than enough, getting you closer to $60.
