Maximum PC

Well, I've come to the conclusion that I am a complete idiot cause I have tried and I have tried and for the life of me I cannot upgrade the firmware of this hard drive. It's so easy a monkey should do it but here I am.

First, it says the drive can't be a C drive actively running an OS, so I put the OCZ toolbox onto another drive. Then I boot to my D drive which is also has Win 7 installed on it, making the SSD Vertex a simple D drive not running an operating system. Halfway home....right????

So I got the new C drive which is NOT the Vertex, I open up OCZ Toolbox, hit Drives and it lists the OCZ Vertex 3. I select it, then I hit Tools, then I select update. I get a nice progress bar and it looks like I am about to do this. When it's done it says update failed!!!!!

What am I doing wrong????
