I have a Dell 630i that I'm trying to upgrade following this article. I purchased all the parts in that list, but am having a problem with the motherboard (Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3). The case has 10 standoffs, but this motherboard has only 9 screw holes. The 10th standoff that the board doesn't support is just under the upper right most standoff. I didn't find this out until after I tried screwing the motherboard into place, only to find an extra screw.

So, obvious question: what do I do about this standoff? Is there a way to remove it? Can I just ignore it and install the board over it? This is my first self build project so I'm very unsure of what I should do here. I welcome all insight and help.
