 Post subject: Running RAM at lower CAS timings Than specified

What happens if you run your RAM at lower timings than the RAM is specified at?

If it's lower than it can ever handle, you'll suffer instability.

And if it can handle it, you'll receive better performance, albiet not likely noticeable outside of benchmarking.

Don't bother, the gains are tiny if they exist.

Hm... well Im not having a problem yet. The Kingstons are rated at 3-3-3. But i have it at 2-2-3.

If it will run lower without stability problems or churning out errors, then you might as well. While in and of itself the benefits won't really be noticeable, it's another part of your system that you can optimize.
