http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDe ... 546&depa=1 crucial ballistix pc3200 -- $105

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDe ... 520&depa=1 corsair XMS XL pc3200 -- $139

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDe ... 160&depa=1 kingston Hyper-X pc3200 -- $123

any suggestions or info would be appriciated greatly, thanks.

I would strongly recommend against using the Chaintech NF4 Ultra if you are looking to O/C....the passive cooler on the chipset is awful....especial considering how hot the NF4 runs.
I think the chaintech is a good solid board for stock speeds.
If you are going to O/C, RAM is very important, don't skimp. If money is an issue, browse the different for sale/trade forums and try to get your hands on some BH-5 memory...If you want new stuff, go with the Corsair 44000C25PT or OCZ 3500-4000.

Legit Reviews - The Chaintech VNF4 Ultra : nForce 4 Ultra on a budget
http://www.legitreviews.com/article.php?aid=165

that was my review on the Chaintech NF4...it is a good board, just not a good overclocker. you could possibly use it with an aftermarket chipset cooler (Swiftech, etc)
I'd recommend either the DFI NF4 ultra, or the MSI NF$ board.

for overclocking check out the DFI nforce4 motherboards. they can overclock very good and their performance is great. its a tough choice to pick out which ram overclockers better because all three youve listed overclocks greatly. hmmm......i think either of the three you will pick out would be a good choice for your system.

negative...do not buy the DFI Ultra, thinking it can be modded. They have changed the board since the intial revision and it no longer is moddable. NVidia made changes to the chipset, as DFI did with the boards...so unless you have one of the first generation boards, the mod will not work, and you risk damaging or ruining your motherboard.
I still recommend the DFI Ultra, but get a top notch card like the X850 and some great memory. If you want to go all out get the 3500+, a DFI NF4 Ultra, an X850 XT, and a GB of OCZ VX 4000 Gold.....O/C that motha to 260FSB at 2-2-2-5 and break 82000 on the Sandra Memory Bandwidth test

the full specs, will probably be.

DFI NF4Ultra
512mb Ballistix(until i can grab another 512, which i will)
3000+
x800 XL
120GB seagate NCQ HD

i won't mod the DFI ultra and turn it into SLI.
