Hello, I am about to buy a new computer and have a budget of around 1000$ with monitor included. Building a computer is not an option right now, so I have to buy a pre-built system. I am actually thinking of the new dell xps 8500 it has this specs:

Is this computer worth that amount of money??
And if not any recommendations would be really helpful. Can you also recommend me a decent monitor 21-23"

Yes it is. The CNET review has wrong information. For what your getting it's not bad at all. It's going to be able to do everything you need to do and then some. Plus I know people will argue but console gaming is really where it's at. Plus all the good games come out on Xbox 360.

Cloud computing and networking is taking over.

Not to mention Dell reliability and warranty.

I'd pull the trigger. I just ordered a monster 8500 build with 12GB RAM and a 2TB HDD.
