Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,

i am planinng on building a new gaming PC and very much hope ppl here can help me by giving me suggestions if what i do is right. my build is purely for hardcore Gaming and watching movies. the following are items that i will be using for my build. please do advise on my build. by the way this is the first time that i am building a custom PC so i will apologise first before i say anything wrong. oh i will be using Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM.

thank you so very much for your kindness.

MOBO

a) ASUS Deluxe Intel Z77 ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1155 Motherboard P8Z77-V DELUXE
b) ASUS Maximus V GENE Z77 motherboard review

i kind of like the DELUXE mobo as it has alot of new features. but Maximus sounds so good from the review about the ability to smooth out the gaming experience.

GPU

Intel® Core™ i7-3770 Processor (8M Cache, up to 3.90 GHz)
would very much want to purchase the I7-3770K but too bad i do not know how to over clock my system and i dont dare to try to over clock for fear i damage my PC.

MEMORY

G.Skill RipJaws-Z 2133MHz 16GB (4GB x 4).

choose this RAM as it is much cheaper than Crosair Vengeance.

COOLER

I am thinking of the following

a) Crosair Hydro Series H100
b) Cooler Master V8
c) Cooler Master v10

VGA

ASUS GeForce GTX 680 Direct CU II 2 GB

POWER SUPPLY

I am thinking of either

a) Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000 W
b) Coolermaster Silent Pro Hybrid 1050W

i know that i may not need that much supply but am trying to future proof it a little as i might go for SLI in future.

CASING

COOLER MASTER ATCS 840

do not know if this case will be able to fit the Cooler master V8 or V10.

thank you once again for taking your time to read this post and your reply is most appreciated.

I suggest the i5-3570K for gaming. It is less expensive and just as fast in real world gaming as the more expensive i7-3770, and that is without overclocking the i5-3570K.

You only need 8GB of memory, 16GB will make no difference in performance.

You are correct about the power supply being over-kill, a high quality Corsair 750 watt should be more than enough for one video card enough.

NOTE: I forgot to post this, sorry. It was setting on my desktop as I was busy.
