Maximum PC

Please! tell me if this combo of parts will work for a gameing PC build. If you think there is a better combo for this price also let me know.
I plan on installing windows on the SSD and storing large files on the HDD. This will be a gameing PC so I plan on playing games like COD and Battlefield 2 on it in HD.
I also plan on installing 8 sticks of the ram in the list for a total of 32gb ram.
I have a $4,000 buget.

You are spending way to much on that processor. And honestly I would wait for the new Ivy Bridge CPUs to come out. Then get one of those which would be around $700 less for the CPU and get a second graphics card. Although I would also go with the nVidia gtx 680 which is faster than the 7970 and uses less power and runs cooler. There are also new graphics cards being released sometime this month so it might also be good to wait for them.
