i would get another 512mb stick, sata isnt sensitve at all to ocing. other then thats its all good.

It is if the fsb locks aren't working.

if i lock the fsb then how would i overclock the multiplier is locked?

Make sure to buy a new PSU. Unless it is a namebrand PSU that comes with the case.

If tech support is important to you, you may want to reconsider the mobo. Go over to Asus and look at the mobo page, then try to find answers to a problem (say no boot issue). Last 2 weeks that I have been there, most of the support site was down.

Reboots During initial install- not your board but you'll see how I tried to get support at Asus and kept running into walls.


I would also check google advanced for reviews of the board, and also use "problems" or "issues" as search terms; to see if others are having issues with this board.

he is the type of person who wouldn't call tech support if his life depended on it...dosen't know shit about computers but thinks he does...before i told him to just pay and i'd deal with the rest he was going to get a dell...{i scream in agony}

changed heatsink to a thermalright xp-120 with the ultimate fan a delta 120mm extreme high speed. this baby gets 220cfm and its nice and quiet too only 65 dBA!!!

i just looked at the asus web site and jeez how can a top teir company get away with that :( i changed the motherboard to a DFI SLI-DR and am looking to shave some money off the price any suggestions?
