Ultimate Link Thread. There's a section that lists non-US vendors with a few from Canada.

I don't know of any offhand, but while you're waiting for further responses you could try researching the US based vendors in that thread.

That's what I have been doing. I think I might just take a drive down to buffalo.

In Ontario Canada, a Canon MP780 all-in-one printer is 449.99 + 15% tax which totals just under $520 CAD.

In New York, the same printer is 299.99 + 8% tax. Then I convert to $ CAD @ 1/1.25 and it totals @ just under $405 CAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's almost a $115 difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also I have been told that Computers and/or Computer Peripherals are not subject to duties like other good are when crossing the boarder.

I think it's worth the drive. I am going to look a bit more inot it though,

Mike

Customs will nail you with that $115 difference and if you try to sneak it past them and get caught...kiss it bye-bye.

here are some canadian retailors

tigerdirect.ca
ncix.com

both of these I order from regularly

adpmods.com has a good selection of moding supplies

both tigerdirect and ncix have the cheepest prices you will probubly find in canada, I have had no problems with ordering from any of these places.

why would you wan't to order from the U.S. when you can order from a canadian retailer and not have to pay a fee to get your hardware over the boarder? well inless you are trying to get something that you can't find in canada.
