Does this look like a good comp i know it probably aint that good to most of you but im a kid just trying to get into gaming which is hard with my current comp. Down the line is 512mb of ram and a agp graphics card hoping for a 9800. this is going to be for gaming but not for half-life 2, Doom 3, Halo yet. I play Battlefield series wolfenstein Enemy Territory and others.

Here is the comp:http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/HP-Pavilion-Desktop-PC-A810N-/sem/rpsm/oid/114638/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

Horrible graphics, you'd definetly need to get a video card for that thing.

oems can give you a horrible mobo, sucky psu, and in this case weird info - 3300+ ?!?!?

looks like a 3400+754 mobo - great processor, but low end system

looks like that's just the tower - built it yourself to make better with less.

You're definatley better off building one on your own. You can make a much better pc for that price if you're willing to get your hands dirty and know enough to order all the components.

Conversely some companies offer respectable rigs in that price range. Check out Alienwares "Bot" series, you might be able to get a little more bang for your buck.

building your own is always the best but if you want a pre-built one, just go with a dell or someting. you can get a better dell computer than that pos.

I want to build my own but i dont think i can that rout considering my money is only 25% of the cost and the the rest is being paid by parents. Also my family has had many problems with dell plus they dont sell AMD Athlon 64's.
YaY its my birthday.
