I just purchased a new hard drive and instead of getting rid of the older 20 gig hard drive I would like to keep it in and run linux of the old and windows Xp pro off the new. How would you go about doing this?

Would I need to change the boot order everytime I were to boot up and want to use the other OS instead?

It would be easier if you set up the new disk as master, and make the old the slave. Then install windows XP on the new disk.

Here is a howto on installing linux so it doesn't clobber your windows boot-loader and how to modify it make the linux boot partition accessible.
