Hello all, I am building a PC in the may/june time specificaly so I can play Battlefield 2. Here is one of the machines that I have put together. Any suggestions on how to save money or ways to upgrade would be greatly apreciated. Its a hornet machine built by monarch computers.

I'd be pretty hesitant to put a 270w power supply in. The choices are limited, but I would go with the 350w.

Do you know if this is a standard power supply?

Chances are that it's not.

Most of those Shuttle-esque boxes are proprietary.

That's what I thought. I would definitely upgrade the PSU now instead of later.

better check on the power requirements of that video card card, from what I've heard, it eats a bit more juice than most. Especially for a gaming machine, you might wanna go with at least 400w of power, if not more, so you have plenty of room to upgrade. Here's a good free site to help you calculate the wattage your gonna need, but keep in mind, you should go above what they recomend (like I said, room for upgrades).

yeah, power and thermal requirements are definitely the main problems here, id go with the antec sff box.
