Hello,

I really want to buy a new multifunction printer. I have been looking at prices at home (in Canada) and also State-side.

Even after taxes and the exchange, I can get the same AIO printer for almost $100 less by shopping in the US (Based on prices at Circuit City, Staples etc)

Does anyone know if I buy a printer in the US, will I incur Duty fees? I was told Computer components were exempt? Is this true?

Any info would be great!

Thanks!

Mike.

well i am not too sure about Canade but down here on the mexican border it is illegal to buy electronics in the US and bring them to mexico and vice versa. I would say just buy it in America and hide it in the trunk or something when crossing the border to Canada.
