This is my first post on the forum and I'm already looking for help. I just recently finsh building a new system and have a question about BIOS settings and tweaks.

Here is the componets I used in the build:

Asus - A8N-SLI Deluxe
AMD - 64 4000+
BFG TECH - GeForce 6800 Ultra OC
Corsair - TWINX1024-4400C25 DDR-550 (XMS-4400) 2.5-4-4-8
Maxtor - DiamondMax 10 Plus 250GB
Antec - Neo Power 480
Creative - Audigy 2 ZS
Plextor - PlexWriter Premium/52X Write, 32X ReWrite, 52X Read ATAPI CD-RW drive
Memorex - DVD-ROM Reader High Speed
Logitech - Z-5500 Digital

I Have updated the BIOS to 1004 and have the latest driver from the nVidia site. All BIOS setting are currently set to default (auto in most cases). On board sound disabeld. What BIOS changes do you suggest for the best performance and stability?

I have had a problem with the system. When I try to run the included nVidia nTune software I receive an error WARNING:

"Your PCI clock is currently set to track the HT bus. If you adjust the clock for the HT bus, the PCI bus clock will change as well. Please consult your motherboard manual to determine hot to disable this behavior before proceeding."

I can't find any information on this in the manual.

hmmm, I really don't know much about messing with the BIOS, but if I were in that situation, I'd post my problem on the MaxPC Forums...oh, wait. Well, plan B, I'd go ahead and use nTune anyway. But I'd see what other people have to say first, sorry i wasn't much help.

I heard some other sites complain about the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe's manuals. Try looking up "overclocking A8N SLI" on google. I have found a least one other person with this problem. I don't have that motherboard itself I am just stating the obvious.
