 Post subject: winchester or newcastle?

I was planning to build an AMD 64 system with the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and the AMD Athlon 64 3500+ and i wasnt sure what the difference between the winchester and the newcastle model was. could someone please explain it?

The winchester have a smaller die, 90nm and the newcastle have a bigger die 120nm. Winchesters are usually better. The name sounds better too. :D

Winchester's have a smaller die, less power consumption, run cooler, and as a result overclock slightly better. Performancewise, there's no difference.
