Heh, don't think I won't try! I have the same curiousity



My only other in depth experience with HyperX was a pair of PC3000 sticks on a Barton platform. They performed as advertised, but I couldn't get them to budge an inch further. I'm very curious as to how their Samsung line will do.

And yes, I hear you about the philosophy part of your post. While I'll look at stock performance, that's not my main area of interest. I'm interested in what these sticks can [do].

And I'm a whore because I DO see OCZ put up against stuff like Corsair in tweaked form and taking the lead. The run-of-the-mill benchtest takes them and just shows how high they can clock and at what timmings.

That's great and all, but what's the end result? Timmings don't speak for everything, just that they can do so-and-so clock if you want it to. Ok, so...which one then has more bandwidth???

This review, as a sample, is the end result I speak of.

It's just that if I want to plunk down $300+ on something that takes up less space than a pack of smokes, I'd like as much info as possible. I'm sure others feel the same way!
