thats a good price for good baseline ram, for ocing tho that wont hold a candle to samsung tccd based ram

(waits for one4u2c to educate us on the matter)

as for ultra ocing this is prob the best value for pc4400

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-231-004&depa=1

237 dolars shipped, thats like less than half of the 2-2-2-5 DDR400 sticks of ram plus it is rated to oc like a mother and it will go down to 2-2-2-5 at stock

I don't know how the above would overclock, but a Google search would be likely to answer that. Awesome price for those timings, btw!

Someone mentioned recently that Kingston had their RAM on sale, so it's worth browsing their selection for anyone interested.

MaxPC tested the 5 fastest rated ram & this particular one was able to be OCed to 533 before it pooped out. If MaxPC says its the best I believe them. definitely (note that it is spelled correctly) not a baseline ram & I am running 2 pc2700 sticks now clocked up to pc3200 speeds.

Ahh... but the RAM that was tested in MPC's stress test was of a different type. This RAM you've listed I would expect would reach PC3700 speeds with 3-4-4-8 timings.
