Which one of these 2T 7200rpm drives is the the one to buy?

seagate ST32000641AS or WDC WD2001FASS

both are extremely overpriced. This Hitachi is nearly half the price and nearly as fast.

That's a pretty sweet deal. Although, at the current price of high speed 1TB drives, it might be just as good to get two solid 1TB drives on sale for nearly the same price. Obviously would take up an additional slot and more power, but an option none the less. Were I shopping now, I might have actually jumped on that Hitachi though....

I've always had excellent exeriences with Western Digital hard drives. Seagate and Hitachi, not so much.

I TOTALLY AGREED.. its more economical and logical to buy 2 1TB drive :) I'm actually eyeing on the WD 1-TB Black edition because it still reign; its still around $100 though.
