I need a good desktop computer that will run smoothly. Can someone send me some links on here. All I need is the box itself. I play madden alot but will be playing alot more graphic games with time. i dont really want to spend much over 500.00. I would build one if someone was open to help with buying parts and putting together through a web cam or on messanger. Give some good links so I can take a look.

Thanks

There are plenty of videos on YouTube that show you how to build a computer. Even on MaximumPC there's a guide http://www.maximumpc.com/article/featur ... owto_guide

At best, for $500, you could afford a:
  • Core i3 or Pentium G850
  • 8GB of RAM
  • GeForce GTX 650 or Radeon HD 7770

That should be about $250 or so. $100 for a motherboard would bring you up to $350. $150 is plenty of room for a case/PSU and an HDD.

Also Madden isn't a PC game, if you want us to get a baseline for your requirements, you need to give us another game you want to play.

No. If you can follow instructions and the guide I posted, you should be fine.

You can come to this forum with troubleshooting questions though.

It's a good build. Bigd, note that you'll probably need to throw in an OEM copy of Windows 7 (or 8 if that's your thing) for an extra $100 to bring your total right up to $500. Windows 7 64-bit OEM
