Hey everyone. This would be my first post on these forums, although I've been on this site for some time now.

So basicly I've gotten 2 suggestions from my friends saying that these two computers would be great for gaming, only 'problem' is - one of the computers is around $140 cheaper, and I don't know if it could be better than the other one because I'm not really that great in computers. That's why I'm gonna ask for help from this forum :)

Computer 1 (The cheaper one):

Super Flower / AXP 750W
Asus P8Z77-V PRO / Socket 1155 / PCI-E 3.0
Intel Core i7-3770K, 3.5GHz, 8MB (Ivy Bridge) <---- Yes, I'm doing alot of rendering in 3ds max, after effects and such
CoolerMaster Vortex 211Q Cpu Cooler
16GB G.Skill Ripjaws Gaming / DDR3 / 2133 Mhz - 4 x 4gb
OCZ Agility Series 3 SATA III 2.5'' SSD - 120GB
Zotac GeForce GTX 680 2GB PCI-E 3.0

Computer 2:

OCZ ZT 750W
Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3
Intel Core i7 2600 (3,4 GHz)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz (16GB)
Intel 320 SSD (80GB)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (2GB GDDR5)

Note that money isn't the problem - it's rather that if i get an opportunity to get a better computer for a cheaper price, who wouldn't go for it?

Another thing I'd like to add is that -as stated above - I'm not really good in computers, so these might not even be good builds. Again, that's why I came here.

Thanks in advance!

I'm certain there are more qualified people on the board, but I will start off a couple thoughts.

The cpu and mobo #1 is probably a better setup as it uses the newer 3rd gen processor with more features. On a side note, why would someone suggest a micro-ATX mobo for #2?

Other than that, I'm sure you can do slightly better here and there, but I think you have selected at least above average, if not some of the best, for the rest. You can mix and match from what you have or consider others, too. Otherwise, I think you can push the PSU to maybe 850 - 1000 watts? And you prolly will need an HDD for storage?

If you a a budget in mind, that would help for suggestions also.

My suggestions is a mix and match because some of the parts are good and some not so good on each build. So here's what i would choose from each and then you can build:

Computer 1 - Keep Motherboard, CPU, and SSD
COmputer 2 - Keep PSU, GPU, and CPU Cooler

RAM is whatever one of the two you like, both are good brands so your choice.
