ok, at this point we are very close and points and our production has been pretty equal.

So... I throw down the Guantlet and challenge Thunar to 3,000,000 points.

HeadWound I accecpt your challenge. Although I want to put this out there right from the start. I am not going to wear a dress!!

The only rule I would like is no outside help. Your machines against my machines. I like my points to be from my machines, it has always been that way and I would like to keep it that way. :)

Starting points for both of us are pretty equal. You have a good size processor advantage, but I have the advantage to having access to all my machines 24/7 so I can adapt them quickly to changing conditions.

Processor counts: 7 day/50 day

Headwound - 57/70
Thunar - 31/36

:D You guys have fun now. I'll check back in next weekend when I get home. Job I'm starting in the morning (actually a repeat of last year, rebuilding some more boardwalks) is over at New Smyrna Beach, and I'm leaving the computer here. Hope the wife doesn't mess it up!!!

GOOD LUCK!!! to you both 8)

I agree - no dresses. We have at least 5 months till the end and I suspect we will change places a couple times during the process. I may have more processors, but I don't have access 24/7 and because of the electric bill I will not be turning some machines back on until after summer (December for us.)

Let's try to figure out a good looser or winner price. If you have any thoughts or ideas, let's hash it out.

Idea: looser gives points to the winner.

Maybe the prize could be a small amount of money. Maybe $50.

I have no stake in this...but I like Blondie's suggestion. Of course that is why she is our Momerator. Image

Or loser buys the winner one of these or anything else from thinkgeek!

I personally like the RTFM mug but there are many other cool and moderately priced items there.
