My Dad died yesterday from the disease of Parkinson's. It had advanced to the point that he could not eat or swallow water, soon it effected his breathing and heart beat that keeps us alive. Unfortunately he had to live with physical and mental issues well before his death.

He was a great Dad and man spending most of his years working for the US navy and taking care of his family. I will miss him.

Thankfully people like yourselves have given help to possibly cure these types of diseases by simply using are computers when they have nothing better to do. For that I thank you.

E

E, posts like this reinforce my desire to contribute to this project.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine having to be a bystander to such a change in the person you knew as "Dad."

Fold on, for a cure.

He was fortunate to have people who cared about him and will miss him.

That's all that matters in the end

E, my heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the loss of your Father. I lost mine over 20 years ago, but had he lived, yesterday would have been his 85th birthday.

Cherish the times you all had as a family, they are priceless and the memories will live on forever in you.

Sorry to hear about your dad.

At least he is not feeling any more pain. But be careful, he is probably watching everything you do now!

Sorry for your losing your Dad, EasyE. As the saying goes " Dad is your best Friend ".
Keep the good memories alive for when you hurt from losing that Friend. The pain
will ease over time.

I just lost my Dad last December 11 and I think about the good times we had and
the things he taught me.

A bit late to the boat, but sorry to hear about your dad :(

I know that more good will come out of our folding; cures, treatments, therapies, and who knows what to help :)
