Well, I may be in the market for one again soon.
So while this kinda sux, it just pushes my dreams
of having another dedicated folder up and running.

Did you get the 1GB versions? Let me know how they work, I ordered 2 of them.

I've got two of them myself- the 1 gig versions... and they've been awesome. Again the biggest issue that I have is that it slows down two machines. Until I figure out the best way to get all my cards going (GPU) without slowing down all the bigadvs (not good point ratio)... I'm going to be hanging in the wind. A couple of them are shut down right until I get them moved around.

You could always get one of these:

Foxconn Destroyer

Put a decent AMD chip in it, XP SP3
and a couple of gigs of DDR2. This way
the cards can fold away and you don't
have to worry about the -bigadv's losing
performance. That's why I plan to build
another rig with something that will take
-bigadv with maybe a card or two for
gaming and keep the 'Destroyer for a
dedicated folding rig.

But that's me.

I'm not sure you are posting this in the rite place

this is the FOLDING hardware deals section

well I'm not a moderator and its not my place to tell you to knock it off

but, the last 2 pages you mention have a few of YOUR posts for NON folding stuff
ie steam games etc and please don't take this wrong, I admire your desire to be part of the community and contribute.

I guess the point was that we have a deals thread in the main forum, this slot is meant for folding deals (in my opinion, see thread name computer/hardware - FOLDING DEALS

you can naturally do what you like, its a free site and has fairly lax controls on these situations. I was just pointing it out to you.

For those of you who know of them, CrazyPc.com is going out of business, and prices have been cut accordingly.

I didn't do any comparison shopping. You're right, there is a difference in prices of the Corsair H50 from Newegg and the Corsair H50 from CrazyPc. Maybe they haven't marked everything down yet. They actually went out of business a few months ago and had some pretty good deals.

I just got an email from them yesterday, so I'm going to wait for an actual deal I can't refuse. Thanks for pointing this out, whathuhitwasntme .
