Maximum PC

Hey all. I just finished working for 3 days on this WU. I now have a credit of 249, and am ranking as number 1955 out of 3577 members in our team!

This rocks!

I just wish I hadn't been so damn stupid and confused our rank with our team ID. I had about 3 days of folding that went to the wrong team. Damnit, I want my points in this team!

They really should put headers above that list in the team stats page. You know, they didn't even say which number was the Team Number. It was only upon clicking the Maximum PC team did I find out that the number was actually 11108, and even then, they don't call it the team number, they call it the team ID.

Can we all stick to one page here?

Anyway, I think it's cool that I'm right now an average folder with only one WU. Of course, Beezlebob has a credit of 394,360 and there is no way in hell that I am beating that! Unless, beezlebob quits and I let my computer run for the next ten years folding protiens!

Spider Monkey. I'm in the 1700's as far as ranking right now. Just started folding the other day.

I'm getting less than 50 points per WU.... I mean, wtf, ya'll.

Don't worry about it. Wether you're doing 50pt WUs or 250pt WUs, there is a minimal difference in points/hour

Actually, there can be a huge difference in points per hour, if you reach an event.

As the atoms get closer the computing takes longer, thus the actual event of folding takes a lot longer and your points per hour plummet, if you get an event that is.

I just got an event on a P736. It was a 128point job, but it took me over 36hrs on an AMD 2500+ @3200+. That was about 3.4 points per hour.

On the other hand, I just got a P740 that I'm working on, and at this rate it will only be 4 hours. 24 points at 4 hours is 6 points per hour. That's near double what I got on the P736.

So you see, pph can very in near extreeme amounts, depending on how close the atoms are to each other. Sometimes you'll get 6, sometimes you'll only get 3.
