Maximum PC

It blows my mind that it took me the better part of 2 or 3 years to get to 700,000 points and now it is taking around 2 weeks to go from 700k to one million!! I broke the 1000 WU barrier a few days ago and will break into the million point club in another 2 or 3 days. I should re-enter the Top 500 club in another week as well, making my badge valid again, LOL!

It really is impressive to see how far the hardware has come in the past 5 or 6 years and how far the Folding software has come! The last time I actively folded it was quite a process to get SMP and GPU folding up and running... Now, one download, everything working right off rip, built in remote client monitoring, the whole 9 yards!

I am glad to be back in the fold (man, that pun really get's beat into the ground!) and glad to have some kick ass hardware pumping out results for Stanford!

yeah new hardware is sure nice, took me 11108 work units and 6 or 7 years to make 2,600,000 and that was running as many as 13 machines with a power bill over 500 dollars a month.

Annndddd... I've done it! Broke a Million Points on the last update! I know a million points isn't a very big deal these days but when I started it sure was so what the heck, I'm gonna celebrate! LOL

Thank you all. I was always pissed at myself for not sticking with folding at least until I hit 1000 WUs and a million points. I don't recall why I stopped folding 3 or 4 or 5 years ago but I'm glad to be back. New hardware always makes me turn to F@H!! If only I had more money I'd run a farm of folders. I drool looking at pics people have posted of their folding farms. One day, one day...
