Right now I'm running Fah_Core 65. Does anyone know where I can get a newer core? I can't find it anywhere on the Folding@Home site.

Tried it. I'm still using Fah_Core 65. Are the newer cores faster?

The core is downloaded automatically from the server. The only thing you can download is a new client, which has nothing to do with the core.

Cores are automatically updated once there is a new one on the server. There is no need to go and force a new core.

Just in case you don't automatically download a new core, just delete your current one. F@H will download the newest one for you when it restarts

doesn't folding@home automatically decide which core is best for running on ur computer and use that one? i know for a fact that my computers with AMDs are running a different core than my comps running Intels, my AMds use core 78 and 65 while my intels use core 65

The WU will use whatever core is required to get the job done. I have 78 and 65 on both my Intel and amd rigs.

I think core 78 is for Gromacs and 65 is for Tinkers.
