Maximum PC

I added an Athlon 2500+ Barton core this week.

I also got my 2.4C watercooled, so I'll be pushing the OC on it above and beyond the 3 GHz mark. (Slimy had it at 3.4 iirc.)

And I'll be adding a 1.8A that may or may not overclock, most likely all I'll get that one to will be 2400.

This should push me over the 400 ppd for good.

how does that celery do compared to the 2.4c, i have seen complete systems with 2.7 celerys for under 200, my last one was 800 or so but i hear that they fold better than one would expect

All I know is that my wife said "Gee my computer seems faster!" But that was when I upgraded her 1.8A to the Celery.

as a folding machine the celery has enough processor and cache to do folding and shouldnt need the missing 256 of cache and would perform almost as good as its counterpart with 512 might have to do some research and maybe learn something, there are some guys at the folding community forum that have been collecting stats to do some comparisons but i havent seen much about results if any
