Just looking over some options for upgrading my 920. How much difference in OC potential is there between say a 970 and a 980x? What kind of bigadv ppd do people get with either of these? Does anyone have one they are looking to get rid of? I really wish I didnt miss out on the sale here :| but finances just were not in place at the time. I figure if I upgrade now then I should be good for another year or so then it will be major mobo cpu upgrade time!

I am currently running Seux's 980X in the garage at 4.2 GHz (161.4*26 - cpuz) and it cranks about 49,000 PPD.

It is not "pure" performance cause I load my cpu with other jobs (dc++ and watching video).
As for software, it is Win7 x64. I run VirtualBox 4.1.4 with a ready-to-use image from http://linuxforge.net/. I also use -bigbeta flag to get these awesome big WUs
