Is the SMP server down at Stanford? One of my two SMP systems (not -bigadv) has not able to download a new SMP wu for about 3 hrs. I'll know for sure, when my second SMP system completes it's WU in 2 1/2 hrs...

And I thought my heavy overclock had messed up the SMP work product and that's why it wasn't downloading a new work unit.
I deleted the finish product work files in the "Work" folder. And it started working again. Image But now I see that was only because it stated processing the same work unit over again.

Somewhat similar here. Stalled at 85%. Give an error of "Unable to comunicate with something, somewhere". Deleted the usual files in
folder to get new WU. Got error "can't reach server (something to that effect)". Deleted and downloaded and installed new Client and set it
up. Still couldn't download WU. Decided to get away from it to do something constructive and went out and raked leaves. Got in a few minutes
ago and the problem Client was on it's 14th frame. Spooooky!

I'll chalk this one up to watching too many Haloween movies lately, although... I did check main forum, and a couple people were talking about
the same problem two hrs before I noticed the mess (lack of better/worse word) on my machine.
