Where am I ????

You're correct
Another shot at a guessing game

Here is something new
You can use your google skills and any others you possess to try for the answer.

It won't be as easy as the picture above
Just words to guide you along
Of course one of the places you might be is the great wall of China.

Someone (yours truly) goes first and picks a place in the world.
They then give 10 clues, adding one at a time about 5 per day.
Slower this time as weekend and weekday visitors find the thread.

Later the goal would be a new Where am I about every two days

After giving the ten clues and waiting a while they give you the answer.

They will give good clues, because if you don't get it they have to come up with another place and ten more clues.
Now that can be an incentive.

Where can this place be you might ask?

A state in the US
A city in the US
A province in Canada
A country in Europe
An island in the world
The top of the Eiffel Tower or the Empire State Building.
Diving the great barrier reef
In the New York City Subway
I'm trying to say anywhere you can describe in ten clues and make someone work to figure it out.

How to proceed

Open notepad and enter 10 great clues

Offer Clue one and wait a couple of hours or so.
Now go back to the notepad file and copy the first two clues together to the thread.
By each time adding a clue and providing all the past clues you keep things tidy and together for those who are guessing.

Pray someone gets it before you have to let the cat out of the bag so you don't have to work your buns off finding 10 more clues that are all good but don't give it away to easily.

If you guess right you do the next one.
Be aware it takes a bit of effort to provide 10 clues that grow in assistance

If I did this one for real, hackman would have guessed it on the first clue.
He always assumes I'm using the things around me.
I'm ready for him this time

Now for a real one

Since it's Sunday I will go slow as people find the thread and get involved.

Take a wild guess or comment to start getting the notifications that things are moving along.

The problem I have is I have found 3 cities with the correct pop.

As RacerAC has discovered Juneau, AK. However it sits at 56 ft. elevation but does have plenty of mountain range.

Bettendorf, IA correct pop sits at 0 ft elevation, but the last time I looked no mountains.

West Achaea, Greece. Correct pop and plenty of mountain ranges but I can't find a recorded elevation.

4. The most modern version built 1967 to 1972

5. Access to the underground at each end of the bridge

6. Building were finally not allowed on the bridge
Way too many fires

7. You may have heard as a child that this particular bridge was falling down

It's probably not the Pacific. The Pacific probably provides at least half of all water vapor in the atmosphere, it's so big.
You said evaporates. That leaves out frozen water because water that goes straight from ice to vapor is called sublimates.
Maybe the Mediterranean sea or Lake Superior or Lake Victoria or something big but not too big.

Here we go again:

I could fill the Panama Canal if it was extended around the world, and then still fill another canal of the same width and depth from Los Angeles to New York.

Black Sea, Caspian Sea

I'm guessing the Gulf of Mexico and the Carribean Sea are too big.
