I loved the Clevo 8880 and 888E systems. Any laptop chassis that could hold 4 internal HDDs deserves the mark of badass in my book. It's too bad they never released that modular router in America that fit into the second drive bay, that was another badass option. Unfortunately you could only get it directly from Clevo/Kapok in Taiwan

I really wish they'd bring back those UXGA screens too, WSXGA+ isn't much of an improvement over SXGA+.

I just saw one go for $1893 on fleaBay about a week ago, you might want to try listing it there if you don't get any "appraisals" here ;)

Just watch out for the scammers from Croatia and Romania. For more information on that see http://www.p-p-p-powerbook.com/

You never saw that?

That was one of the greatest pranks ever against an eBay scammer.

How so?

The site didn't really delve into the backstory much and a lot of the links were busted.

It looked to me like somone actually sold that binder as a powerlaptop and got away with it. But it appears that some how someone got back at a scammer? How?

It's all completely detailed in here:

Leave it to a SA Goon to get back at the eBay laptop scammers.

There's more probably archived on the SA forums, I was reading it in real time as it was happening, someone had posted a link to the old Commport.

The best part was when the guy came to pick it up and discovered he paid 400 pounds for the p-p-p-powerbook, and tried to get back at the guy by sending him a virus.....AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!
