No, I don't actually have one. :(

...but if I did, how much do you all think it's worth? How much might it go for on eBay, in today's market?

Just curious.

The first one I saw on eBay just before the fall of 3Dfx went for $1600.

The last one I saw on eBay maybe two or three months ago went for something between $500 and $600.

The only Voodoo5 6000 I ever wanted was the one in the framed display case, but that one went for $940, which is waaaay more then what I would pay for it.

I didn't say they went over $2000 once 3Dfx was gone, I just gave the first and last prices I ever saw on fleaBay.

The card was never offered to the public. Only review.engineering samples existed. 3DFX went belly up before they could release the card. So it is a collectors piece of an extinct era.

Yea, it was supposed to be the best of the best, somethting totally unheard of at the time. So yea, just a collector's Item now, sort of like an Apple IIe.

At my 3Dfx peak I had:

1 Orchid Righteous 3D 6MB PCI Card
5 Diamond Monster 3D II 12MB PCI Cards
1 3Dfx/STB Voodoo3 3000 16MB PCI Card
1 3Dfx/STB Voodoo3 3500 16MB AGP Card

and my favorite which is currently running in my dual athlon MP workstation:

1 Quantum Obsidian2 X-24 24MB PCI Card (hence my title)

Yea but it can't hold a candle to the 3dfx voodoo 5 6000 in bungholio marks.

Wo0t! My first "owned" Puter! Man I miss that thing. I use to be wicked good at Pitfall and Montezuma's Revenge (even though it either never ended, or I didn't have all the floppies)!
